For junk removal business owners

Help customers find your junk removal business—and feel confident calling.

Whether you’re getting started or improving an existing website, customers need to know what you take, where you work, and how to get a quote.

I help junk removal owners put those pieces together: a clear website, an accurate Google presence, and a straightforward way for customers to reach you.

Systems fixes + website

“It's rare to find someone who can step into both technical and operational challenges and handle them this efficiently.”
— Tracy Schumann, Jurassic Junk Removal

My work with Jurassic began with immediate technology problems: fixing systems issues, correcting customer contact paths, and consolidating the company’s Google presence.

Now I’m working with Tracy on a corporate and Greater Pittsburgh website, with a foundation for future franchise locations. That means helping customers understand the difference between junk removal, dumpster rentals, and moving labor—and find the right next step for their job.

Your business may need something much smaller. I’ll help you work out what fits.

Get found. Build trust. Make it easy to call.

Three places to look before deciding what to spend money on.

1. Make it clear what you do and where you go.

Can someone quickly tell whether you’ll take their old couch, handle a garage cleanout, or serve their town?

Your website and Google Business Profile should accurately describe your services and service area. If you offer dumpster rentals as well as full-service removal, explain the difference so customers know which to ask for.

Check yours: Are the items you take, the items you can’t take, and the towns you serve easy to find?

2. Show customers what hiring you looks like.

People may be inviting your crew into their home or onto their property. Real job photos, customer reviews, and a clear explanation of the process help them feel comfortable taking that step.

Explain how estimates work, who does the lifting and loading, and what customers should have ready. If the final price depends on seeing the job, say so.

Check yours: Could a first-time customer understand what happens between requesting an estimate and having the junk removed?

3. Make requesting a quote straightforward.

Customers should be able to call or send an inquiry easily from their phone. Ask for the details you actually need: the pickup location, what needs to go, and relevant access issues such as stairs.

If you accept photos by text or through a form, make that option obvious. Tell customers what happens after they send their request.

Check yours: Try your own inquiry process on a phone. Does the request reach the right person, with enough information to take the next step?

A practical foundation for your business

Foundations

$2,500

A complete small website for a junk removal business with a straightforward set of services and one main customer journey.

  • Up to five pages, with the page map agreed before signing.
  • Copy drafted for you, based on an interview and follow-up questions.
  • A mobile-first website with a clear contact path.
  • Google Business Profile setup or cleanup.
  • A light search foundation and analytics.
  • One consolidated round of revisions.

You bring your business knowledge, photos, and feedback. I organize the content, write the copy, and build the agreed site.

The page count, content, and functionality are agreed before work begins. Photo uploads, booking tools, and other integrations are included only where explicitly scoped.

Need more service pages, multiple locations, or a more involved customer journey? Custom websites start at $4,000.

Talk about your website

Clear about what continues after launch.

Project fees are agreed up front. There’s no required monthly fee from SteelPixels, and ongoing support is optional.

Your domain, hosting, and any paid tools have their own costs, which we’ll discuss before work begins. Ownership and account handoff are set out in your agreement. If you want help with changes later, I’ll quote the work before starting.

Jason Leffakis, founder of SteelPixels

You’ll work directly with me.

I’m Jason Leffakis, the person behind SteelPixels. I’m based in Pittsburgh and work with owner-led businesses locally and beyond.

I learn how your business works, help you decide what deserves attention, and take responsibility for the agreed work.

If a few improvements to your current setup are enough, I’ll tell you. If you need a new website, I’ll explain what belongs in it and why.

What should you fix first?

Start with a free online-presence review.

Tell me your business name, where you work, and what you’re trying to improve. Share your website or public business profile if you have one.

I’ll review what customers can see from the outside:

01

How they find your business and understand your service area.

02

What helps them trust you and understand your services.

03

How easily they can call or request a quote.

You’ll receive a short assessment of the most useful improvements I can identify, in priority order. You can act on it yourself, share it with someone who helps you, or ask me to scope the work.

I call this a Leak Map. I review it personally; it isn’t an automated website score.
